This is a test post to fill up space. Boredomistan v1.0 had three such test posts outlining the art of blogging. While deploying this version, I accidentally blew them all away. This post will try and replace those three, if I can remember all that I had in them. I'm sure that there's a whole lot that I've forgotten. There was stuff about links and how other blogs are full of them. There was also something about pictures. I think I'll put a picture in the next paragraph.
Ahhh that's right, there was a bit about smaller pictures linking to bigger ones. This makes sense because big pictures can't fit on the main page, so it's best to make a smaller one that links to it. Click this picture, you'll get a bigger version. I don't know who these people are, but they're famous now. When putting a picture in, it's also important to make the paragraph that is next to it big enough so that it surrounds the whole picture. If it doesn't, it can look ugly. If it weren't for these last few sentences, this paragraph wouldn't be big enough to surround the picture. Blogging isn't just unmoderated ranting, there's a penmanship involved too. Pfffffffft.
To the left of the screen you'll see 'categories'. Categories are a way of grouping various posts together that have a similar theme to them. Most blog authors abandon categories, tags, whatever pretty early on and post everything under the 'other' category. I'll try not to let that happen.
Down below you'll see people's comments. You can leave an anonymous comment, but it's best to sign up and leave a comment that way. When you sign up you get to have your own avatar, and better formatting of your comments. Next to the 'Comments' heading you'll see a small orange icon. That's the RSS feed for the comments in this post. RSS is a way of knowing when something on the site is updated as it happens. RSS is available for all the comments in a post, as well as for all posts. The RSS for all posts is a bigger orange icon right down the bottom of the page.
Go ahead and add your own comment to this post. You can sign up if you'd like, or add a comment anonymously. If you don't want to sign up, that's cool, try logging on with this test account:
