Good news everyone!
I've got a new apartment! I move in there next weekend. This will probably be my last post for quite a while, phonelines and internets take a few weeks to get connected. I'll be stuck with regular ADSL for a few months until the exchange gets upgraded. I rate fast internet as being more desirable than gas in choosing a new place.
I'm glad that I have my weekends back now, though I was extremely lucky to get this place. Over the last few months I've been looking for somewhere new to rent and it's k-r-a-z-y out there. Everywhere I looked through had 20 to 30 other people looking through it too. The market is insanely tight; I offered a lot more than what was advertised for a few places and still got knocked back. Someone better remind me to go into a massive "baby-boomers gobbling up the real estate market" rant when I get back.
I promise that I'll eventually be returning with a brand new Boredomistan. Well, maybe not brand new, but with a heap of improvements that I've been working on in my spare time. Most of it is ready to roll right now, but there is one more big change that I have to implement.
