Hello comrades! I'm writing to you, my children, on this 'web-log' to speak of something very important; your future. The world has always been filled with adventure and peril, but even a well-seasoned veteran like I have grave fears for the challenges that we all face in the 21st century.

When I was a young scamp, we knew who the enemy was so we pointed a few missiles at them and that was that. Today the threat is global warming, an unseen enemy with more manifestations than Kennedy had mistresses. My heart sings with joy when I see groups of young revolutionaries marching against corporations who would poison our planet and rob our children of their future, with my friend Che Guevara on their shirts.

Hmmm, what's this? Large oil deposits found off the Cuban coast? Interesting... and it seems that my Brazilian brothers have signed a pact with the biggest oil consumer in the world to develop biofuels and thus reduce the need the US has for oil imports.

Global warming is a lie and biofuels are the devil's work! Those American imperialist pigdogs have found yet another way to rape our women and children. I know that I haven't been too well lately, but I'm going to get off my deathbed to write a series of rants against biofuels. Mighty Cuba fears no rising seas, no fierce Caribbean hurricanes and certainly no Western Satan grandstanding on how the planet is turning against us.
